Royal Mail joins our list of Accessible Technology Charter signatories.

Global post and courier company and Technology Taskforce member Royal Mail have recently added their name to our ever-growing list of Accessible Technology Charter signatories, which includes EY, the National Crime Agency and Microlink.

Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director Royal Mail Letters & Network Sue Whalley said: “Royal Mail was a founder member of [BDF], and we take inclusion and fairness very seriously.

In signing up to the Accessible Technology Charter, we are making a public commitment to using technology to make it easier for everyone, including those with disabilities, to engage fully with our company.

I am delighted that we are taking this step, and as sponsor will be personally engaged in ensuring we do indeed make progress. There are many ways in which technology can support our employees and make our services easier to access for our customers; engaging with the Technology Taskforce will allow us to exchange experience with other companies and improve more rapidly.”
